Christmas at my great-aunt Mary Aleese's

Mommy and daddy forgot to bring the camera, but on Sunday was my great-aunt Mary Aleese's annual Christmas party. I got to see my aunts and uncles on my mom's side, my cousin Abbey, and many second cousins. I had fun, though I was more intersted in playing with the train set and other toys than with eating pizza. Though I did have cake, so I guess I have my priorities straight: save room for dessert!

My first snowfall!!

Yesterday I saw my first snow, about 4 inches! My cousin Abbey also saw her first snowfall yesterday too. She must really love the cold weather, I was all bundled up in a jacket and hat. I don't think it ever snows in Guatemala!

Exploring the Italian side of my adopted heritage

I may be Guatemalan, but I also enjoy pizza and tiramisu! Yummy yummy!

visiting daddy's friends

I also got to see some of daddys friends, who all went to kindergarten together, and their spouses and kids. They try to get together at least once a year to see each other. It was a lot of fun!

Over the river and through the woods

to Grandma and Grandpa Fosko's we went the next day. Boy, did I have fun! Grandma and Grandpa got down on the floor and played with me, and had lots of toys and food! I cried when we were leaving.

HersheyPark...sounds like fun!

Daddy says the title is from a commercial for Hershey Park. It was cold the day after Thanksgiving, when we were there. But I did get to see some Christmas decorations, and Santa's reindeer. Wonter how they get back to the North Pole?

Bobby's First Thanksgiving in the US!!

Today was my first Thanksgiving with Mommy and Daddy. Boy did I have fun!!! The food was great too. We went to Pops and Gams house today and I got to see my Aunt Gina and Uncle Anthony. As soon as we got there, I played a while. My favorite game was playing with a car and balls. I would throw and kick the balls. I even had fun playing with Gina and Anthony. For dinner, I ate cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, peas, and bread. I was not crazy about the turkey. I even got to try some pumpkin pie, apple pie, and ice cream. I loved all of it.

Tomorrow, we are going to Hershey Park for the Candy Lane festivities. I will get to see reindeer, go on some rides and even see a christmas light show. On Saturday I will get to see my Grandma and Grandpa Fosko. On Sunday I will get to meet some of Daddy's high school friends. We will post pictures from the weekend soon.

Love to all and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!!

A Busy but fun day!!!

Saturday, November 17th was fun, but also a long day. Mommy and I had to wake up early to get to downtown Silver Spring by 8AM. There was a Thanksgiving Day Parade and Gymboree Play and Music took part in it. Mommy walking while pushing my stroller in the parade. In front of us was 2 parachutes and Gymboree bubbles flying everywhere. My friend Crystal who mommy works with was Gymbo. Sorry I do not have any pictures of it. It was a cold morning, but we still had fun. Then we went home so I could take a nap.

At 4:30 we were at Gymboree for a birthday party. It was mommy's boss' son's birthday party. His birthday is on November 18th. My cousin Reagan is a day older than Aaron. I had so much fun playing at Gymboree. This picture is with Aaron and Mommy. We did not stay for the cake because I was really tired and was ready to go home.

I am really looking forward to my birthday party being at Gymboree on January 19th.

Last weekend we went to Hershey, PA to see Chocolate world. I had so much fun. I got to see a movie and go on a ride. The movie was a 3-D movie and I did not understand the concept about having to wear glasses. Come on mommy and daddy you know how much I do not like to have anything on my face. I just kept them around my neck. Mommy and Daddy told me that they saw hershey kisses, and hershey bars fly towards them. We saw snow above us got sprayed with water and the seat rumbled. Then we went on the Chocolate tour. It is a ride that you go on (the picture shows it) goes through the process of how Hershey's products are made. At the end we got our picture taken while we were still in the car. That was so much fun and better yet after the movie and the ride I got candy (2 pieces and they tasted great). I am definitely a chocoholic!! Before we left to go back to the hotel, we bought some candy for home, and for mommy and daddy to take into work.

On the way back to the hotel, we saw street lights shaped into Hershey Kisses. I thought that was cool!! It was a great weekend and we will be going back to Hershey next month for their Candy Lane Holiday Event next month. I will even get to see reindeer!!

Happy Halloween!!

My first Halloween was great!!! I even got to go trick or treating twice!!! At day care they brought us to the different classrooms for trick or treating and got CANDY!! When I got home I begged daddy for some. I was disappointed because I could only have one piece. After dinner, mommy and daddy put on my costume. I was a pumpkin. We went out trick or treating. The first house we went to, I got to see my friend Sydney who also goes to Layhill Learning Center, but only for Before and After School care. I also got to see my friend Isabella's mom,(who used to be a Gymboree member)who lives in our neighborhood. Mommy and daddy thought that I would not last that long, but I showed them!!! We went to houses on either side of the street on two streets!!! When we got home, I cried because I wanted to go to more houses. As you can see though, we would not have been able to fit any more candy. Plus it was bedtime. I think that a lot of the neighbors gave me a lot of candy since I am soooo cute!! What do you think?

Butler's Orchard

Mommy and daddy took me to Butler's Orchard Sunday (Oct. 28th). We did not stay that long. I was getting tired, so mommy and daddy figured that I would get more out of it. We did get to see some animals. I did not like the gilly goats I cried and scream and then daddy moved the stroller out of the way. Here is a picture of me with the goats. My favorite things about Butlers orchard was eating a apple cider donut and riding a John Deere bicycle. Daddy had to push it for me though. When we tried to walk away to another part of the orchard, I cried and screamed all I wanted to do was to be on the bike. Daddy gave me a few more rides and I was happy. I know I will enjoy it more next year. Hopefully I will be able to reach the foot pedals on the bike next year!!

The weekend of October 20th, we were in Wilkes Barre/West Wyoming, Pennsylvania. While we were there I got to meet my Cousin Mary Theresa and her dog Wally. He is a really big dog and I was scared of him. Mommy and daddy kept telling me that he was very sweet and that he cannot hear, but I was still scared of him so I stayed close to mommy and daddy. I also met my Cousin Christine and her two children Nicholas and Nathan. I had fun playing with them. I even got to meet my Uncle Frank (we did not get a chance to get a picture of him). I enjoyed meeting and spending time with my Great Aunt Mary Ann. (I am in a picture with her).

Adoptions Together Picnic

We went to the Adoptions Together Picnic on October 14th. Mommy and daddy even got to see some of their friends that also adopted from Guatemala. I had a wonderful time on the playground at the park we were at. I had so much fun, that I wanted to keep playing. Poor mommy and daddy tried to get me to eat, but I was too excited and all I wanted to do was play on the slides and pet the dogs. It was a great day.

No more crib!!!

The morning of October 14th, daddy comes into my room because I was crying. Come to find out that one leg was inside the crib and the other was out. Mommy and Daddy decided that it was time to get a toddler bed for me. Here is a picture of me in my car seat with the bed with me. I did not like it against me feet too much, but unfortunately, it would not fit in mommy's trunk.

I have adjusted to my bed very well. I am a big boy now!!!

Seeing Daddy's friends from College

Before we left to go home on October 7th, we went to see Daddy's friends from College, so they could meet me for the first time. I really like Ken and Sue and I really had a lot of fun playing with their 3 kids (they are all older than me). We even went to the park and I slid down the slides in their backyard. My skills for sliding came not only from Daycare, but also Gymboree. THANKS GYMBOREE!!! We had dinner with them and had cake for desert because it was Ken's birthday. I would have to say it was a fun filled weekend.

My cousins Emma and Maddie's Birthday Party

On October 6th we went to my Uncle Gary and Aunt Carolyn's house for my cousins Emma and Maddies's Birthday party. It was so much fun and I even ate chocolate cake!! Maddie turned 2 on October 6th and Emma turned 9 on October 20th. I cannot wait for my 2nd birthday. It is hard to believe that I will be 2 in January.

Meeting Cousin Frank and Tonya

Sorry it has taken so long to update the blog. We have been very busy lately. I keep telling mommy and daddy that we need to get better at this to keep it up to date. So after a month, mommy and daddy decide to finally update. ITS ABOUT TIME!!!

On October 6th, we went to New Jersey for the weekend. We went to three different cities that weekend to see family and Daddy's friends from College. First we went to meet my cousins Frank and Tonya for the first time. My cousin Tonya will be having her baby in December. I cannot wait to meet baby Ava. I had a great time with Frank and Tonya.

Guatemala Day Festival Gaithersburg Fairgrounds

Today mommy and daddy took me to the Agricultural Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, MD for the Guatemala Day Festival. I really enjoyed myself and I felt like I was in Guatemala again. I heard people talk and sing in spanish. I also enjoyed the Guatemalan bread too! Mommy and daddy introduced me to Debbie and her son and Karen and her duaghter who were also adopted from Guatemala. Mommy and Daddy tell me that I will see them again at the Adoptions Together Family Picnic in a few weeks. Here are some pictures of today's events. We will post again soon. Love you all lots!!!

Being With My Cousins

Sunday and Monday of last week, I spent the afternoon at my Pops house with my cousins. I had so much fun playing with Reagan and Harrison. I even got to eat dinner with them and also the best part we all played in the bathtub together.
Friday we went back to play at pops. I did not want to leave, but I was very tired. Yesterday, Aunt Karen, Uncle Corey and Reagan and Harrison came over and they got to play with my toys with me. We did not take any pictures, but mommy blew Gymboree bubbles for all of us. Boy did we love "popping those bubbles." Harrison liked them very much too. He would crawl to them and his eyes would get really wide and big. Then Reagan found the Gymbo doll and then Aunt Karen started singing the Gymbo Dance. What fun we had!!! It is just so sad they went back to Oklahoma today, I will really miss all of them.

My Cousin Abbey's Baptism

On Saturday, September 15th was my cousin Abbey's baptism. She was so cute and beautiul in her white dress. Did not pay attention to the Baptism, though. Reagan and I were too busy running aroung the chapel. Mommy even tried chasing after us to try to get us to sit down. The Baptism was great we were all together, cousins and all. Then we went to Aunt Amy's house for a BBQ, which was so much fun. We had so much more fun playing than watching the boring Notre Dame game. I really enjoyed seeing Abbey as well.
