Go Notre Dame!

Mommy and Aunt Amy are here holding the twins. Before the adults watched the Notre Dame-USC game, we saw a parade of Christmas lights and floats in Gettysburg. It was cold, but us kids had fun anyway. We watched movies downstairs, much more fun than watching Notre Dame lose!

Baptism and my first sleepover

Today my two new cousins were baptized. Us four older kids had a front-row seat, but could hardly keep quiet or still. I think the babies were quieter than we were!

After the baptism I had my very first sleepover with my cousins! While we were watched by my Uncle Corey's cousin Jenna, mommy and daddy and the rest of the adults went to Pierre to see the Christmas lights in the State Capitol building, and where my Uncle Corey sits in the state Senate chambers.

We're leaving on a jet plane!

Today we left for our much anticipated trip to South Dakota to see my two new cousins, Madison and Kennedy! What I enjoyed most about the plane trip out was seeing my cousin Abbey, and Pops and Gams. We only live 25 minutes from my cousin, but we hadn't seen her since daddy started working at St. Ann's. On the trip out I kept fighting with Abbey over what video we were going to watch, and constantly wanted to sit in Pop's and Gam's laps, even when Pops was trying to read the newspaper!

We got to see my new cousins after an hour ride from Pierre to Gettysburg. Pops and Gams certainly look proud holding their two newest grandchildren!

While the adults enjoyed talking, drinking, and eating Thanksgiving dinner, us kids enjoyed racing these cars in this humungous shed! My cousin Reagan even decided to play bumper cars once, which didn't go over too well with her mommy. Oh yeah, we did manage to eat in the midst of all the fun things to do: cars, moonbounce, pass the pickle, and just running around. We wore ourselves out!

Mommy got to play today!!

Mommy and Stephanie went to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) annual conference in DC this past weeek. On the first day (Wednesday), they both went to a Play workshop. Mommy got to play for 25 minutes and she had so much fun. She played with tree trunk pieces and built this with them. I really liked it. Stephanie even made of video of mommy during the conference doing the "Wild Rompus" from the Where The Wild Things Are. We will post it later.

Oink Oink shots and the Brotherhood of the Travelling Pants

Daddy and I got our swine flu shots this morning. I was OK until we went up to the stage where they were giving the shots, and I was scared seeing all these other kids crying. Daddy went first, and it didn't hurt me one bit, he said I was so brave!

I have to go back next month to get my second dose, but daddy is all done, except for his regular flu shot. I got mine already.

Two weeks ago I needed an extra pair of pants at school. Daddy forgot to return them, so yesterday I wore them to school. When daddy said to my teacher that we'll wash them and return them Monday, I said 'I can take them off now', to which daddy and my teacher said no, keep my pants on.

Halloween 2009

This is a picture of me in my puppy costume. Our new kitten Thai is in the picture with me. I really like him and he likes playing with me too. I had so much fun on Halloween. At school we walked in a parade and we also had a halloween party as well. Also at school daddy took me through the haunted house in the library. I did not get scared until the end. After I ate dinner mommy and daddy took me out trick or treating. I was scared of the doors that had skeletons on the door. Mommy and daddy told me that it was not real, but I did not believe that. I also saw a jack-o-lantern in a window at one house and that really scared me. Mommy told me that it would not hurt me and I would not believe that either.

The best part of the evening was getting a lot of candy. Then we came home and I helped mommy and daddy give out candy to the kids who came to our house. We gave out five bags of candy in an hour.

Now that Halloween is over, I am looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with Pops, Gams, Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, Aunt Karen, Uncle Corey and my cousins, Reagan, Harrison and Abbey. I am also excited about meeting my new cousins Madison and Kennedy (Reagan and Harrison's baby sisters).
