Dinosaurs And A Water Monster!!

Today mommy and daddy took me to downtown Silver Spring to see Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I really loved the movie, especially when they showed the baby dinosauars. Of course there were other animals, but I like dinosaurs the best. There were a few times I got scared when they showed the big dinosaurs roar. Then we walked from the movie theater to the fountain so that I could play in it. I had so much fun that I did not want to go home. Mommy and daddy told me we had to go home because I had to take a nap. Party poopers!

Water And Donuts Please!!

Tonight mommy and daddy took me to Rockville Town Square to walk around. There were even rocks that you could climb on and jump off of. Do not worry mommy and daddy would only let me jump off the low rocks.

Then mommy daddy and I walked to the fountain. There were other kids in the fountain getting wet. I did not want to go in the fountain. All of a sudden I kept walking close then running back and after doing this a dozen or more times, I finally went in to the water. Boy did I get soaked, of course I did not mind at all.

We noticed there was a Fractured Prune there so we went there to get a donut before we went home. Yummy!! It was a chocolate glazed donut with chocolate chips on top. Mommy had a peppermint patty (mint green icing with chocolate chips) and daddy had a chocolate glazed donut with coconut.

Then it was time to go home. As soon as we got home the rain was coming down in buckets and all three of us got soaked just walking from the car to the front door. Then it was time to go to bed. I was so tired but it was so much fun. Goodnight to everyone. I love you all.

Rockville Sports Plex: Soccer

Today mommy and daddy took me to play soccer in an indoor field at the Rockville Sportsplex in Rockville, MD. Mommy and daddy said that if I liked the trial class they would enroll me for the Fall. The class I was in was the Hoppers (Beginners) class for 3 to 4 year olds. I had a lot of fun kicking the ball around before class started. However, when class started and they were having cirle time, I started to cry and did not do what the coaches said. I really do not like structure at all. Then I said; "I do not want to play soccer." Mommy and daddy took me home and decided that we would try another trial class in the Fall.

I can ride my tricycle now!

Daddy didn't have his camera outside with him, but I was able to pedal my tricycle myself on the sidewalk. Mommy and Daddy were thinking maybe I needed a smaller tricycle, but all I needed was some practice. Gee, with educators as parents, it certainly took them long enough to figure that one out!!! Practice makes perfect! I also should mention that we had dinner with Tim on Friday night at my favorite eating place, BJ Pumpernickles in Olney.

Happy 8th Anniversary Mommy and Daddy!

When mommy and daddy went out for their anniversary, Rafaela came over to babysit me. I love it when she comes to babysit, and we have so much fun! When mommy and daddy came home, she was reading with me from this children's Bible. Sadly, she's going back to her native Brazil in a few weeks, but plans to come back to go to college. I'll miss her!!!!

Take Me Home To A Place Where I Belong West Virginia Mountain Momma Take Me Home Country Roads!

This weekend we went to mommy's college for a reunion. Friday night we tried in vain to find a place to eat in Morgantown, but couldn't. Daddy pointed out the sign for West Virginia University, and I said 'I want to go there'.

Ok, so it was one word off from West Virginia Wesleyan, our final destination and mommy's alma mater. On Saturday morning we picked up Stephanie in Bridgeport, WV and drove to Buckhannon, WV. At the Alumni Center there was this neat rocking chair that I got to sit in, and I got to play with a nice 21-month old who was there, Rebecca.

I was a bit cranky before lunch, so daddy put me in the car and drove me around to get me to sleep. We were 30 miles down I-79 headed towards Charleston before mommy called and had daddy come back for lunch.

While I was at with daddy, mommy and Stephanie had to be interviewed for Mrs. Coston's book. I must have liked West Virginia Wesleyan, for later on that afternoon I had an accident and made my mark on the Alumni Center rug. I guess I have to go to college there now. That night, Rebecca's mommy (the Alumni Director), and her husband watched me and Rebecca while mommy and daddy met up with some of mommy's friends.

Mrs. Coston, who is in the center of the picture is the retired learning center director from Wesleyan, is writing a book about the alumni who was in the learning center during and their successes during and after Wesleyan. The name of the book will be called "A Celebration of Success". Mommy submitted some things from her experiences for book. The book is due to come out in the fall 2011 and at that point there will be a book signing.

Happy Birthday America!

Mommy, daddy, and I went to the beach for Independence Day! Daddy took me to the beach to play in the sand, then he took me in the water. Though I said to mommy when we got back to the house that I liked the water, I was crying and clinging to daddy every moment we were in the water!

Pops took me outside and I was his little helper in watering the plants. Thanks Pops, I loved being your little helper! Then Pops, Gams, and Mary Aleese played ball with me on the floor. I really had fun then!

Mommy and daddy went out to dinner after I went to bed. I wonder why??
