Maryland Day
Today Mommy, Daddy and I went to University of Maryland College Park for Maryland Day. Daddy also went to the Library Science Department for the information session so he can find out more about the Doctorate program. While we were there we got to see the Maryland flag, which was made out of cupcakes. I had one of those cupcakes. Yum yum. On a hill on campus, there were rows of flags of the United Nations. We found the Guatemala flag so Daddy took a picture of me in front of it. I had fun.

There are bubbles in the air, in the air
While daddy was finishing cutting the grass, mommy was keeping me and some of the neighborhood kids entertained with Gymboree bubbles! We had fun catching them, and trying to eat them (they're sugar-based). After daddy was done, their friend Tim came over, and we had dinner together. Then I had to go to bed. Adults get to have all the fun!
More fun with my friends in our neighborhood and playing with Tim.
I am having fun with my friends while mommy is blowing bubbles for us. We all loved to eat them. One of the girls said: "Wow! These bubbles tastes just like chocolate." We could not get enough of them.
Later in the evening before I went to bed, I got to play a little bit with Tim. He is so much fun to be around. Thank you, Tim!!

Grandma and Grandpa's house
After my cousin's party, we went and stayed over at my grandma and grandpa's house. On our way there we stopped in New Hope for Starbuck's hot chocolate.
I played with grandma and grandpa at night, then we had kielbasa, Easter bread, and eggs the next morning. I also had Cheez-it's with peanut butter! They were delicious, thanks grandma!

My cousin Kensie's birthday party
Today was also my cousin Kensie's 7th birthday party! Above I am playing with her sister Maddie, who is three months older than me. She had been waiting all week for me to come! We had fun playing together. Below Kensie is opening up the present that we got her.
Above I'm really enjoying the cake that we had. Below, I enjoyed playing with one of their three cats. Mommy keeps talking about getting a cat for me, but some people think that I should get a dog, or that I'm too young for a pet yet.
Here I am playing in the sandbox with my cousin Maddie, above. Daddy is thinking of getting me one for our back porch so I can play at home.
Gotcha Day! 4/19
I've been home in the US for one year today! Here I am eating my favorite fruit, bananas. Last year on April 16th, mommy and daddy flew down to Guatemala to let me say goodbye to my foster family, go to the US Embassy to get my visa, and then fly home. I became a U.S. Citizen when we went through customs in Houston.

Creative skill and artistic talent
If you look closely at the above picture, I figured out how to stand up coins in the groove of the night-table. Below, if you look closely at my bed, you'll notice that I found some crayons one night, and used them to color on my bedsheets. Mommy and daddy the next day went through my room and hid all the crayons!
