Yay! Today we will arrive in South Dakota!!

On the way to Aunt Karen and Uncle Corey's house, we stopped at De Smet, SD to see Laura Ingalls Wilder's house. I even got to see baby horses and barn kittens. We even road a covered wagon and the driver let me drive for a little while. I even got to see how people lived during the 1800s. While on the covered wagon, we stopped at a one room school house. I sat at one of the desks to see what it felt like.

Once we left De Smet, SD I was so excited to hear that we would be in Gettysburg, SD in a few hours. A few hours later, I was playing with Reagan and Harrison!

Malls and Bats

Our 2nd stop will be to stay in Minnesota overnight. On the way, we stopped in Wisconsin so that we could get some exercise, so we walked inside the mall and then mommy and daddy let me play a little bit on the playground. Once we arrived in Minnesota, we went to the Mall of America. Was that mall huge. There was an amusement park inside with a roller coaster! I also saw some other children playing with legos in a store. For dinner we went to Rainforest Cafe. This was the first location to open. I liked the mac and cheese, however, I did not like the elephant noises, storm noises, and I was afraid of the bats flying around. Mommy and daddy told me it was for pretend that all of those things were not real.

A Two Week Family Excursion

Yesterday we left for our two week road trip to South Dakota to see Aunt Karen, Uncle Corey, and my cousins Reagan, Harrison, Kennedy and Madison and on the way home we will be stopping in St. Charles, MO where some of mommy's family lives. The first stop was to stay overnight in Cleveland, OH. Today on the way to Chicago, we went stopped in South Bend, IN to walk around on Notre Dame's campus. However, it was too hot so we had lunch at Legends and mommy lit a candle for a friend. On the way to Notre Dame, we stopped at a travel plaza and inside was the South Bend Chocolate Company. Mommy had bought a Mexican hot chocolate with cinnamon for her and daddy. She also bought a chocolate bar for all of us to share. The chocolate was soooo good!

Swimming Lessons

Mommy and daddy enrolled me in a two week swimming lesson class to help me get acclimated to the water. They were thinking that each summer I am really scared to go in the water that this class would help me get over my fear of getting in the water and they were right. The swim lessons were held in Bethesda. I had so much fun and I did not have any problems with jumping to the teacher in the water!! I even jumped off the diving board.

Hitting the Beach Before Hitting The Road

I have been having so much fun at the beach with my Cousin Abbey, Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, Pops, Gams, and Mommy and Daddy. I got to play in the pool on the deck and play games with Abbey. I even went to Funland in Rehobeth and had a great time. Daddy and I even got mommy to go on the teacup ride. Mommy forgot how fast it went and I do not think she liked it too much.

Today mommy and daddy took me to Sports Skills at Gymboree. The class was canceled today but at least I still got to play instead. It was like having an extra Playgym!! I really loved seeing Kim today at Gymboree as well! I even got to see her yesterday while I was there for School Skills. I even got to see my friend Carlos there which is a boy I met last week at Playgym. Mommy used to teach him at Gymboree. I cannot wait to go back next week!!

Thai's Special Treat

Stephanie came over today to see us. While daddy took me to the pool, mommy and Stephanie stayed inside the house. Mommy and Stephanie decided to give Thai a taste of tuna fish. So mommy put a spoonful in a bowl. Thai ate it right up and begged mommy and Stephanie to give him more. Thai was not happy because he could not have anymore. The tuna was his birthday celebration from yesterday. Here is a picture of Bobby giving Thai a birthday hug.

Fourth of July Weekend

This weekend was so much fun and we did so much. First we went to see grandma and grandpa Fosko. Then we went to see Uncle Gary, Aunt Carolyn, and my cousins Emma, Kensie, and Maddie. I had so much fun drawing with the side walk chalk with them. Then we went to daddy's friend's house. I did not like going in the sprinkler and I did not like water balloons hitting me but I did like throwing them at other people. I also thought I would also help out with some vaccumming. Here is a picture of me riding on a vaccum cleaner as one of daddy's friends was pushing it.

Happy Birthday America and Thai!

We drove home today after a fun weekend spending time with my cousin Abbey on Friday, then with Grandma and Grandpa Fosko. Saturday I got to see my cousins Emma, Kensie, and Maddie and then that night we went to a BBQ at one of dad's college friend's house. I loved playing with the water Balloons. Today we got back home and spent time with Thai who turned one today. Mommy and Daddy even let me stay up late to watch the fireworks on TV. I really liked the fireworks and had a fun-filled weekend.

Summer Has Been So Much Fun So Far

This summer, I have already gone to a couple of parks, Adventure USA in New Market, MD, birthday parties, and Vacation Bible School at a Lutheran Church in Silver Spring. Yesterday after mommy was done with her in-service, mommy and daddy took me to play at Gymboree. I really enjoyed playing with Carlos who is about the same age as I am and mommy used to teach him at Gymboree. I cannot wait to see him again. Mommy said that she and Carlos' mom will set up some play dates for us!!
This week was mommy's first week of in-services for work and is looking forward to starting the school year working in the two year old classroom at St. Francis International School in Silver Spring.
There are some trips that I am looking forward to this weekend. Friday we are going to PA to see Grandma and Grandpa Fosko. Saturday we are going to see Uncle Gary, Aunt Carolyn, and my cousins Emma, Kensie, and Maddie. Next week we will go to the beach and I will get to see Pops, Gams, Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, and my cousin Abbey. I will also get to see Abbey this Friday as well. Then in July we will be going to South Dakota to see Aunt Karen, Uncle Corey and my cousins Reagan, Harrison, Madison, and Kennedy. In August we are going to go to Missouri to meet some more of mommy's family. I am looking forward to it very much.

Starting from July 5th to July 15th, I will be taking swimming lessons too. It is a class to help me get comfortable with the water and learn the basics.

Mommy created this video of me having fun the last couple of months. The song that is playing in the background is from a CD that I got at Bible School. Enjoy!!

Daddy's Little Helper

Since I was done school and daddy wasn't, I went in a few days this week to help daddy in the library. I helped move some books, and put videos on a shelf. I got to walk down the street with daddy and go to McDonald's for lunch, and I even got these cool watches in the shape of characters from the Shrek movie.

Maybe I've been at daddy's school too much. I asked daddy why he was moving something, and he said 'so it looks nice'. I said 'so [the principal] will be happy'?

Paddling in the Harbor

Today was daddy's last day of school. We went to pick him up at St. Ann's and then went with mommy to a workshop in Baltimore called 'Handwriting Without Tears'. While mommy went to the workshop and got a lot of good ideas for next year at St. Francis International School, daddy took me for ice cream, and then a paddleboat ride in the Inner Harbor. I'm liking summer vacation!

Pre-K Graduation

Today was my last day of pre-K 3. I even got a diploma. Though, in two years I'll be part of the kindergarten graduation and performance. They sing a song with the refrain 'A B C' ... 'now I can read'. Daddy's trying to find it for me. For kindergarten I'll have the same teacher my uncle Anthony had.

Field Day

Today was Field Day for the pre-kindergarten classes at St. Ann's Academy. I got my face painted, had lots of candy and goodies, and a baloon dog. I kept talking all the way home about how much fun I had on Field Day!

Weekend in Waldorf

Daddy still needs to get the pictures developed since he forgot our camera, but I wanted to tell you about our Memorial Day Weekend. We stayed in Waldorf Maryland so we could go to Point Lookout State Park, where the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River meet. We saw some Navy ships on the horizon, and saw this old lighthouse.

Then we went to Saint Mary's City, where the Ark and the Dove landed. I got to see how the Native Americans and British colonists lived, and an old Jesuit church.

The next day we went to another park, and I got to go fishing! The park ranger showe me, and then reminded daddy how to fish. I told Grandpa Fosko how I went fishing, and he said he'll give me some fishing stuff next time we visit. I was so excited and proud!

Happy Memorial Day to our veterans!

Crabfest Continued

I found one more picture on my cell phone. This a picture from the crabfest at St. Ann's from Saturday. Bobby was having so much fun running around with two of his friends, Ariana and Claire. Bobby and Claire are in this picture. They are so cute together!!

Bobby Has Been Busy Lately

I have had so much fun and have done so many things this month such as soccer, going to Rose Hill Manor in Frederick, MD, being at a birthday party today at Pump It up for my friend Aaron who just turned 5, and eating crab at the Crabfest today at St. Ann's. What a fun filled month. Mommy made this video to show what I have done this month so far. Enjoy.

St. Ann's Carnival

Today was St. Ann's Carnival. I had a lot of fun playing games and jumping in the moon bounce. I also was excited to see an ice cream truck at the carnival too. Mommy and daddy got me some ice cream too. I had so much fun playing with my friend Kevin who is in this picture.

Happy Mother's Day

It was a great Mother's Day. Kevin made breakfast, cleaned the dishes and did the laundry. Bobby made me some wonderful things for me. He made a card and a flower for Mother's Day at school. That was just so sweet.

Then we drove to Frederick, Maryland to see the Rose Hill Manor and go on a tour. Bobby really liked seeing the carriages and playing with the old toys and learning how to make yarn out of sheeps' wool.

That evening, my dad took us all out to dinner to celebrate Mother's Day and I even got a rose at the restaurant. Bobby was admiring the flower and soon enough the flower was off the stem. I really did not need the flower since real flowers bother me. "Bobby said I wanted a flower and I told him that the flower will not last if the flower is taken off the stem. The flower will dry out." A little science lesson for him. He said "So it cannot be fixed." and I said no and that we have to be very gentle with flowers. Bobby is so amazing and it is hard to believe what he can actually grasp things and is able to follow conversations very well. Bobby is definitely a sponge and loves to learn!!!! Today was a really good day.
