Go Notre Dame!

Mommy and Aunt Amy are here holding the twins. Before the adults watched the Notre Dame-USC game, we saw a parade of Christmas lights and floats in Gettysburg. It was cold, but us kids had fun anyway. We watched movies downstairs, much more fun than watching Notre Dame lose!

Baptism and my first sleepover

Today my two new cousins were baptized. Us four older kids had a front-row seat, but could hardly keep quiet or still. I think the babies were quieter than we were!

After the baptism I had my very first sleepover with my cousins! While we were watched by my Uncle Corey's cousin Jenna, mommy and daddy and the rest of the adults went to Pierre to see the Christmas lights in the State Capitol building, and where my Uncle Corey sits in the state Senate chambers.

We're leaving on a jet plane!

Today we left for our much anticipated trip to South Dakota to see my two new cousins, Madison and Kennedy! What I enjoyed most about the plane trip out was seeing my cousin Abbey, and Pops and Gams. We only live 25 minutes from my cousin, but we hadn't seen her since daddy started working at St. Ann's. On the trip out I kept fighting with Abbey over what video we were going to watch, and constantly wanted to sit in Pop's and Gam's laps, even when Pops was trying to read the newspaper!

We got to see my new cousins after an hour ride from Pierre to Gettysburg. Pops and Gams certainly look proud holding their two newest grandchildren!

While the adults enjoyed talking, drinking, and eating Thanksgiving dinner, us kids enjoyed racing these cars in this humungous shed! My cousin Reagan even decided to play bumper cars once, which didn't go over too well with her mommy. Oh yeah, we did manage to eat in the midst of all the fun things to do: cars, moonbounce, pass the pickle, and just running around. We wore ourselves out!

Mommy got to play today!!

Mommy and Stephanie went to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) annual conference in DC this past weeek. On the first day (Wednesday), they both went to a Play workshop. Mommy got to play for 25 minutes and she had so much fun. She played with tree trunk pieces and built this with them. I really liked it. Stephanie even made of video of mommy during the conference doing the "Wild Rompus" from the Where The Wild Things Are. We will post it later.

Oink Oink shots and the Brotherhood of the Travelling Pants

Daddy and I got our swine flu shots this morning. I was OK until we went up to the stage where they were giving the shots, and I was scared seeing all these other kids crying. Daddy went first, and it didn't hurt me one bit, he said I was so brave!

I have to go back next month to get my second dose, but daddy is all done, except for his regular flu shot. I got mine already.

Two weeks ago I needed an extra pair of pants at school. Daddy forgot to return them, so yesterday I wore them to school. When daddy said to my teacher that we'll wash them and return them Monday, I said 'I can take them off now', to which daddy and my teacher said no, keep my pants on.

Halloween 2009

This is a picture of me in my puppy costume. Our new kitten Thai is in the picture with me. I really like him and he likes playing with me too. I had so much fun on Halloween. At school we walked in a parade and we also had a halloween party as well. Also at school daddy took me through the haunted house in the library. I did not get scared until the end. After I ate dinner mommy and daddy took me out trick or treating. I was scared of the doors that had skeletons on the door. Mommy and daddy told me that it was not real, but I did not believe that. I also saw a jack-o-lantern in a window at one house and that really scared me. Mommy told me that it would not hurt me and I would not believe that either.

The best part of the evening was getting a lot of candy. Then we came home and I helped mommy and daddy give out candy to the kids who came to our house. We gave out five bags of candy in an hour.

Now that Halloween is over, I am looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with Pops, Gams, Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, Aunt Karen, Uncle Corey and my cousins, Reagan, Harrison and Abbey. I am also excited about meeting my new cousins Madison and Kennedy (Reagan and Harrison's baby sisters).

A New Addition To The Fosko Family!

Mommy brought home a new kitten last night. He is a chocolate point siamese and was born on July 4, 2009. Stephanie helped mommy to pick out a name for him. Mommy had looked at a list of Siamese names. Stephanie thought that since he was born on July 4th, which means independence/freedom that it would be appropriate to name the kitten Thai. Thai is Siamese for free. I got to play with him today and he came right up to me and wanted me to let him. I love Thai so much. Here are a few pictures of him.

I'm A Biker Dude!!

This afternoon daddy took me out for a bike ride on my new bike. I even am wearing a helmet and knee pads to make me safe. After I rode my bike, daddy took me to the playground to run around and climb. I really enjoyed riding my new bike. Thank you mommy and daddy for getting it for me!!!

Going to Playland!!

Today, mommy and daddy took me to Wheaton Plaza. Wheaton Plaza has something new called Playland. It is a place where you can climb and go on the slide. Birthday parties can be hel there. While I was playing, daddy ordered a pizza for lunch. After I played for a little bit, I ate and then we went home because I had to take a nap. I had fun climbing and sliding and I hope to go back there again real soon.

Stickers And A Ball

Today I had to see my doctor and dentist for school. The doctor told me that I am 28lbs and 35 1/2 inches and that I am proportioned well for height and weight. While I was there, he said I was up to date with all my shots and will not need any more until kindergarten. Today I had to get a TB test and the flu mist. I flinched a little when they did the under the skin TB test, but I did not cry. I got two stickers while I was there and the nurse put them on a tongue depresser to make it look like a puppet. I was so excited and held on to it while I was in the car and would not put it down.

Mommy then took me to see "Doc" and I really had a lot of fun with him. He let me explore his instruments (with his supervision of course). In Doc's mind it is important to get the child comfortable and playing with me was one of them. Mommy wishes that the dentist would have done that with her when she was my age. The visit went really well. I let Doc count my teeth, clean my teeth, and take an x-ray of my teeth. The reason why he took an x-ray was because I had 10 teeth on the top and only 9 on the bottom so there was one tooth missing. Doc told mommy that there is a permanent tooth there (which will come up when I am older) and that the baby tooth never formed, which is ok. The good thing is a do not have a gap in between my teeth. He told mommy that she and daddy are doing great with me especially with my teeth and that I do not have any tooth decay. I guess it is because they do not give me too much sugar and they tell me to brush my teeth. Doc gave me a bag of goodies: toothpaste, toothbrush, and a ball. I love Doc, he's the best!!

Because I did so well, mommy took me to Potomac Pizza so that I could get a slice of pizza and fries. I ate the whole slice and some fries. While we were at Potomac Pizza, I said "I really like this place!" Mommy told me that when she, Aunt Amy, and Aunt Karen went there when they were growing up. Mommy thought I was funny and cute when I told the waiter that I was missing a tooth. I think the waiter thought I was cute too. When I saw daddy and Stephanie last night, I also told them that I was missing a tooth. Yesterday was such a good day. Tomorrow I will be going back to St. Ann's for school.

Labor Day at National Harbor

Today mommy, daddy, and Stephanie took me to the National Harbor. I had so much fun. First, we went into Ben and Jerry's and I had a chocolate covered pretzel along with daddy. Mommy and Stephanie had a milk shake. Then we went to the playground near by where there were rocks as well as a statue coming out of the sand. You could climb on the head, the arms, and the legs and then there was sand in the middle. I had so much fun running around in the sand and climbing. It was a fun day.

Aunt Amy, Aunt Karen, and Mommy's childhood home.

Today we drove to the house where Aunt Amy, Aunt Karen, and Mommy lived in Falls Church, Virginia. We took a picture of it. Mommy says that the trees are much higher now and it is hard to see the house. I was glad to see the house that they grew up in though.

An Evening with Stephanie

Tonight we went to Alexandria for the night. First we stopped by Stephanie's to pick her up. I got to meet her mom and dad, Delores and Stephen. I also got to meet Stephanie's birds and dogs. I have gotten used to being around dogs and I love them. I thought the birds were pretty neat too. Then we left and went out to dinner with daddy, mommy, and Stephanie. It was a very fun evening.

A Is For Apple.

Today mommy and I went in to work with daddy. I went to try out the Pre-K 3 class and mommy helped daddy out in the library to get it organized for the students for next week. When mommy and daddy came to pick me up from the classroom, I was so excited and showed them the apple that I made. I was beaming from ear to ear. Afterwards, daddy and mommy enrolled me at St. Ann's and I will start attending there on Wednesday. I cannot wait.

It Is That Time Again

I had so much fun with summer camp this year. We went on many field trips like to a farm, museums, Chuck E Cheese, and I even liked water play every Thursday. Friday was my last day of summer camp and tomorrow school starts again. I will be in the 3 year old preschool class once again and then I will move into the 4 year old (pre-k) classroom in December and I will be in that class until June of 2011. I am looking forward to starting school again.

Back To School Bash in Downtown Silver Spring

Daddy and I thought it was time for mommy to get out of the house. We went to Montgomery Mall to pick up her rings and to have her walk. Once we left Shaw's Jewelers it was time to get mommy home to take a nap. After naptime, Daddy and Mommy took me to downtown Silver Spring for a special event they were having. There was Arts and Crafts, face painting, a moonbounce, etc. As you can see I had so much fun jumping in the moonbounce. Mommy and Daddy do not let me jump on things in the house, so I was very happy to know that I could jump in the moonbounce.

During the festivities, there was an entertainment portion. Gymboree Play and Music performed at this time. They did a Michael Jackson tribute (Happy Birthday MJ!!). Gymboree danced to Michael's music. They did a great job!! I was also glad that I got to see Ms. Kim and Ms. Rita. I have not seen them in a long time and missed them.

I was tired when we got home, but I had so much fun jumping and listening to the music.

Thank you Stephanie!!

From August 19th to August 22nd, mommy's friend Stephanie, stayed at our house to help mommy during the first few days of recuperation from surgery. I had so much fun playing with Stephanie. Stephanie thank you for helping take care of mommy and helping daddy as well while mommy recuperates.
