Memorial Day Weekend

On our way to Ocean City, MD (there are two of them, the other is in NJ) we went to mommy and daddy's favorite place, Fisherman's Inn. It's my favorite place now too, after I saw the choo-choo. We stayed at my g-grandma Gi's condo at The Carousel. I enjoyed the rides and playing on the playground. I also got to see Pop's and Gam's renovated beach house, which was started in January 2007. We'll take more pictures of the house later.

3rd Masters Degree!! Daddy are you done yet?

Today was Daddy's Graduation at Catholic University. He officially has his third Masters in Library Science. Mommy, Daddy, and I rode the choo choo (Metro) to Catholic University. We did have a picture of me on the Metro, however, Mommy accidentally deleted it. It was such a great day and I sat in my seat for a whole hour during the Graduation!!! Congratulations Daddy!! I love you!!

Abbey's 1st Birthday Party

Today mommy and daddy took me to my Aunt Amy and Uncle Scott's house to celebrate my cousin Abbey's first birthday. Since Abbey loves frogs, the party was all about frogs. There was a big stuffed frog, frog punch (green sherbert with 7-up and plastic frogs), a cake with a picture of Abbey and her big stuffed frog. I had a lot of fun and I even got to meet a dog and I met a nice girl who was my age and I loved playing with her.

Maryland Day

Today Mommy, Daddy and I went to University of Maryland College Park for Maryland Day. Daddy also went to the Library Science Department for the information session so he can find out more about the Doctorate program. While we were there we got to see the Maryland flag, which was made out of cupcakes. I had one of those cupcakes. Yum yum. On a hill on campus, there were rows of flags of the United Nations. We found the Guatemala flag so Daddy took a picture of me in front of it. I had fun.

There are bubbles in the air, in the air

While daddy was finishing cutting the grass, mommy was keeping me and some of the neighborhood kids entertained with Gymboree bubbles! We had fun catching them, and trying to eat them (they're sugar-based). After daddy was done, their friend Tim came over, and we had dinner together. Then I had to go to bed. Adults get to have all the fun!

More fun with my friends in our neighborhood and playing with Tim.

I am having fun with my friends while mommy is blowing bubbles for us. We all loved to eat them. One of the girls said: "Wow! These bubbles tastes just like chocolate." We could not get enough of them.

Later in the evening before I went to bed, I got to play a little bit with Tim. He is so much fun to be around. Thank you, Tim!!

Grandma and Grandpa's house

After my cousin's party, we went and stayed over at my grandma and grandpa's house. On our way there we stopped in New Hope for Starbuck's hot chocolate.

I played with grandma and grandpa at night, then we had kielbasa, Easter bread, and eggs the next morning. I also had Cheez-it's with peanut butter! They were delicious, thanks grandma!

My cousin Kensie's birthday party

Today was also my cousin Kensie's 7th birthday party! Above I am playing with her sister Maddie, who is three months older than me. She had been waiting all week for me to come! We had fun playing together. Below Kensie is opening up the present that we got her.

Above I'm really enjoying the cake that we had. Below, I enjoyed playing with one of their three cats. Mommy keeps talking about getting a cat for me, but some people think that I should get a dog, or that I'm too young for a pet yet.

Here I am playing in the sandbox with my cousin Maddie, above. Daddy is thinking of getting me one for our back porch so I can play at home.

Gotcha Day! 4/19

I've been home in the US for one year today! Here I am eating my favorite fruit, bananas. Last year on April 16th, mommy and daddy flew down to Guatemala to let me say goodbye to my foster family, go to the US Embassy to get my visa, and then fly home. I became a U.S. Citizen when we went through customs in Houston.

Creative skill and artistic talent

If you look closely at the above picture, I figured out how to stand up coins in the groove of the night-table. Below, if you look closely at my bed, you'll notice that I found some crayons one night, and used them to color on my bedsheets. Mommy and daddy the next day went through my room and hid all the crayons!

Easter

On Easter we went over to Pops and Gams, and I had fun seeing everyone. My cousin Abbey was there, along with my aunt Amy and uncle Scott. Here I am playing.

Here I am with my great-grandmother, Gi

We even had an Easter egg hunt too. I also saw my Aunt Gina, and some other friends as well.

When we got home, guess what, I had another Easter egg hunt! I found quite a few eggs to add to the basket that mommy had made for me. Now I have lots of chocolate to eat, yummy!

Uncle Anthony

We need to keep my uncle Anthony in our thoughts and prayers. He had a stroke on Tuesday night. He's at Mt. Sinai in NYC, they're trying to figure out what caused it. Get well soon, Uncle Anthony!

Love, Bobby. (and Mommy and Daddy too)

Bobby the trash collector

Tuesday night we take out the trash, and I helped daddy with emptying trash cans, and even carried a small can myself! I also helped daddy put together some shelving for my toys. Which, after daddy neatly arranged, I decided to take them all off!

Dora, Diego, and Bobos

Mommay and daddy took me to see Go Diego Go Live! at the Warner Theater. I was thrilled, even though we were in the last row in the balcony (what was daddy thinking, he should have ordered tickets earlier!) I only had one time towards the end that I started to get tired and antsy.

Bobby the budding artist

No pictures, but the other day I decided to color on the floor in the dining room. Mommy didn't like that and put me in timeout, and daddy cleaned it up when he got home. Maybe they should get me an easel with paper so I can have a safe place to show off my artistic talent.

Valentine's Day Party

On our way to New Jersey I got to see grandma and grandpa. They ordered pizza! Boy, did I have fun!

Every year around Valentine's Day daddy's college friends get together and play "The Newlywed Game". I got to play with the other little kids while the big kids played their game. Mommy and daddy won this year, the first time they've one since 2001, when they were engaged.
