Two years ago today I came home with mommy and daddy from Guatemala. To celebrate, mommy and daddy took me to the two playgrounds near our house (one is small and the other is big). I even played with a little girl named Mia who lives a few streets away from us. Then we took a walk to Clear Shot Drive (in Longmead Crossing) where mommy lived from '95-'98. Then we walked back home. I was so tired because mommy and daddy wore me out for an hour outside. After we got home, I took a nap and then I woke up and had some pizza for lunch. Then we went to Baskin and Robin's for ice cream. I had chocolate ice cream with nuts, cookie dough pieces, and M&Ms in it. It was so good and then I had a sugar high. When we got home mommy and daddy showed me pictures of Momma Rosa (who was my foster mom) and Momma Maria (who is my birthmom). I said "I came out of Momma Maria's tummy!" I thanked mommy for printing out a picture of Momma Rosa and Momma Maria. I had so much fun today. Thank you mommy and daddy. I love you.

But daddy you put it there!
Daddy's so silly. He was trying to get me to eat some more of my shredded pork burrito, so he gave me a forkful. Then Mommy asked me to chew my food, since I had a lot in my mouth. To which I said 'Daddy put it there!' Boy, am I smart!

Easter at Pops' and Gams' House.
Today mommy, daddy, and I went to celebrate Easter at Popps' and Gams' house. Aunt Amy, Uncle Scott, Cousin Abbey, Aunt Gina and her boyfriend Sean, Uncle Anthony, Gi, and Aunt Ann were there too. I had so much fun playing with Abbey. We especially loved running around the house chasing each other. Pops and Gams gave us each an Easter basket with candy in it or should I say that the Easter Bunny left it for us. We even had an easter egg hunt with plastic eggs. Abbey and I loved searching for the eggs and their was even goodies inside them. Thank you Pops and Gams for a wonderful Easter. I love you both very much!!

Boy! Some Amish towns have funny names!
Tonight we went to the Intercourse Village and Inn for dinner in Intercourse, PA. The resteraunt was like a ma and pops and had home cooked meals. The food was great and the atmosphere was cute. Intercourse is an amish town and what I thought was neat was that the buggies that the Amish road in were drawn by horses. The buggies are now modernized. They actually have brake lights and turn signal lights for safety reasons, since they travel on the roads along with cars. I had a great time and I look forward to seeing Pops, Gams, Gina, Sean, Anthony, Amy, Scott, and Abbey for Easter. Happy Easter and Happy Passover to each and every one of you. We will post again soon.
Trains, Trains, and more Trains!
While we were in Lancaster, PA, mommy and daddy took me to two train museums. One was called the Choo Choo Barn, which had a room with a miniature train displays where the trains actually move through different parts of the town. Their were different buildings, homes, stores, etc in town that was part of the train display. I had a lot of fun watching the trains move. Their was even a Thomas train on one of the tracks. At one point they turned off the lights to make it look like night time and stars in the sky. There was even some train shops as well as a candy store on the same block. The other museum was called the Toy Train Museum. This museum also had a lot of trains. The museum was interactive in that the children were able to press button's to make the toy trains and different accessories to turn on as well. For lunch we went to this restaurant called Hershey Farm and I loved the Mac and Cheese. It was so much fun and then we went back to the hotel for a nap, while dad did some Geneaology research for someone. Did not even realized he was gone until I woke up.
Feel Better Soon Grandma!
We were supposed to see Grandma and Grandpa Fosko today to celebrate Easter but Grandpa called daddy yesterday and said that she was in the hospital. She is doing ok and she was supposed to go home today. Grandma, I hope you feel better real soon and I miss you so much!! We will see you soon.

Lunch with Kim
Today mommy, daddy, and I had lunch with Kim, a friend mommy used to work with at Gymboree. It was so great to see her and I wanted to go home with her. I would have gone with her if I had the chance. HA HA. I am sorry mommy and daddy, but I see you two all the time and I do not get to see Kim that often. I did not want to leave. When we got to Pennsylvania, I asked "Where is Kim?" I had a great time!! I miss you Kim!!

Dora the Explorer Live
Today Mommy and Daddy took me to see Dora the Explorer Live today at the Warner Theater. I had so much fun and I was really into it. More so than Go Diego Go last year. I think it is because I am older now. I was dancing and they gave each child a paper star to hold to wave around in certain parts of the show. Even Diego and Baby Jaguar were in it too. After the show we went to the JW Marriott to have lunch and then it was time to go home to take a nap. It was a fun morning. Thank you mommy and daddy, I loved it!!!

Dinner at Looney's Pub

Tonight mommy, daddy, and I went to see Celia, Michelle, and Nicole for dinner at a pub in Fulton, MD (halfway between Silver Spring and Columbia). The name of the pub is Looney's Pub. I was surprised to see so many TVs there. Michelle had mentioned that the menu stated that there were 100 Tvs in the restaurant. I enjoyed watching basketball. They even had a biirthday present for me. They had given my plastic dinosaurs. Thank you Celia, Michelle and Nicole. I love them!!! I ate all my mac and cheese, so I was able to have a hot fudge sundae (yummy). I had fun with Celia, Michelle and Nicole and cannot wait to see them again. I already miss them.

A fun-filled day!

Today I had so much fun. Mommy and Daddy went to Dream Dinners to make meals. I took a nap and then we went to Columbia to meet Theia, mom's old high school friend, her husband Robert, and their baby girl, Heather. Daddy took me to the park near their house to play, so that mommy could catch up with Theia. Mommy even got to hold Heather and tried to help her quiet down, since her tummy was hurting. Heather is almost 4 months old. Then I told mommy and daddy that I was hungry and wanted a pancake for dinner, so we left Columbia and went to BJ Pumpernickel's in Olney. We went home and I fell right to sleep. I was so tired because I would not sleep this afternoon. I am excited that tomorrow we are going back to Columbia to see Celia, Michelle, and Nicole.
That is all for now and we will try and not wait over a month to post(Good thing backdating on Blogspot is not illegal like backdating checks or contracts.)

Make way for the ICC!

Mommy and Daddy wanted to take a picture of the building where I used to go to school before it was torn down. They also took pictures of some of the areas of Park Vista off of Blue Knob Terrace (where we live) since most of the trees are gone. We are kind of sad to see all the trees gone, but that is progress for you. It will be easier to get to Gaithersburg, Laurel, and I-95 once it is done.

Annual Valentine's Day Party in New Jersey

Today we went to New Jersey to see Daddy's college friends for the annual Valentine's Day party. I had a good time playing with Caroline and all Daddy's friends' children. We all had pizza, but all I would eat was crackers and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal (Thank you Sue!!). I ate the desserts of course because that is my favorite type of food. There was even a gift exchange and Mommy and Daddy got Jenga. It was a very fun evening and I was exhausted, but it was totally worth it.

I don't want my cast off!
I cried when the doctor said I don't need my cast anymore, and then my cast came off. Now I don't want to walk. It will take a week for my muscles to gain their strength, so mommy and daddy will just carry me around. Wait a minute! Mommy just left me at school, and the director said she'll hold my hand and have me walk. Boy am I mad at mommy now! Maybe I can get daddy to carry me around when I get home...

I finally took a few steps by myself!
Mommy and daddy have tried everything except waterboarding to try to convice me that taking a step by myself is NOT going to cause me to break my leg again. Sure, I can climb up and down the stairs, onto chairs, and walk holding onto walls and mommy and daddy's hand, but as soon as they let go, I am convinced that I will break my leg. Daddy last night gently pushed me and I took a few steps. Now mommy and daddy are waiting to see how I'll do at daycare.
On the bright side, mommy and daddy missed getting to see me learn to crawl, walk assisted, then take my first few steps, so they got to see me learn it all over again! Thanks Momma Rosa for teaching me the first time, and for mommy and daddy teaching my the second time.

Great-Aunt Ann's Birthday Party

I had a great time at the party. I was starting to forget all about my cast because I was having too much fun playing with my cousins. I did not eat much dinner, but boy did I love the ice cream and cake. It was great to be with the family and I did not get to bed until after 9:00 that night and I loved it. Happy Birthday to Ann!! I love you!!

Seeing the Orthopedist
Today mommy took me to see the orthopedist. They took another x-ray of my leg and I did so well and I was not scared this time. The good news is I will not have to go back for another 3 weeks and at that point I will get another x-ray and the doctor will let us know if my cast is ready to come of or not. Keep your fingers crossed that it comes off on February 27th!!

Lunch at Macaroni Grill
We decided to go to Macaroni Grill in downtown Silver Spring. Before we had lunch, we went to Gymboree for a visit. I had not been there since my party and mommy had not been there for 3 weeks. Mommy asked if I wanted to see Kim and I said yes. While we were there, Kim gave me a big hug, took a picture of me, held me, and wrote on my cast. Thanks Kim you made my day. I love you!!
After we left Gymboree we went to have lunch and I had so much fun with Mommy. It was a good day, but it was tooo cold.

A visit to ABC Learning Center
Today mommy took me for a visit at school. She told me that everyone misses me so we thought we would go so I could spend some time there. While we were there, I had snack. Monika and Maria the managers gave me a snack. Then mommy took me in to my classroom and I traced some letter L's. Then we went downstairs for Music class, which Ms. Jen from Gymboree comes to teach every Monday. Mommy and I had so much fun. While I was there Ms. Monika, Ms Maria, and my teacher signed my cast. Ms. Monika and Ms. Maria said I could come back next week, if I start walking. Keep your fingers cross.

Here I am with my nice blue cast!

Last Tuesday it snowed so mommy kept me home from school, and guess what? I've been doing a lot of running around the house, jumping, sliding on the floor, and doing somersaults, and I somehow broke my left leg. I was running and throwing my dinosaurs, and I hit the wall with my foot, and this vase came down, and six hours later I had a nice temporary cast on my foot. The blue cast in the picture is the permanant cast, which I got on Friday. It will stay on for 4-6 weeks.
Now that our blog is finally up to date, maybe Mommy and Daddy won't wait until March 1st to post all the fun things I will do this month. We might get some snow on Tuesday, but I probably won't be able to go out in it.
Saturday, January 31, 2009
Silly Mommy!! Today we were getting ready to have breakfast and mommy said; "Bobby come to the table for breakfast." Mommy had a lapse in memory beacause she forgot for a moment that I had a cast on my leg and that I could not walk. Poor mommy she was so tired she did not know what end was up. It had been a tough week. Thank you mommy for taking such good care of me the past couple of days and I love you.

We have a new President!
Mommy and daddy sent me to school today so they could stay home and watch the inauguration and parade by themselves on TV. Wonder why they would want to do that? Meanwhile, I learned about our new president at school, because when I came home and was watching the parade, I said 'Obama' when they showed a picture of him. I hear my Pops is going to a black tie dinner in a few weeks and President Obama will be there.

Road trip on my birthday

I'm three today, and we went to visit one of mommy's friends from high school who lives in Keyser, WV. As you can see, they actually have snow out there. I had fun playing with his son Zach. It took me a little time to get used to their dog, but by the end of the visit, I was saying that I wanted a dog! They said when I'm older. I don't know, maybe I have to break my leg or something to get a dog!

It's my birthday (party)!

Before my party at Gymboree, I got to open up my present from Mommy and Daddy, and also from my Grandma and Grandpa Fosko and my Auntie Dawn. I got these cool dinosaurs from my Auntie, a travel toy computer from Mommy and Daddy (I think they're hoping I'll pull out my computer instead of bugging them and trying to use their computers). Yeah right! From my Fosko grandparents I got this cool toy bulldozer that my daddy and uncle Gary used to play with.

Then it was on to Gymboree for my party! My cousin Abbey was there with her mommy and daddy, so was another child from Guatemala, and a few of my classmates from ABC Learning Center, where I go to school. We then went to dinner with my Pops. I made out with all the presents I got. Thanks everyone! Oh yeah, I even had cupcakes yesterday at school.

Some more cousins

Well, actually they are my fourth cousins. Though my mommy might be related to their mommy because their mommy's grandmother had the same maiden name as my mommy does. Confused yet? We had dinner, laughed, and had fun. I cried when we left because I had so much fun with them. They said they would try coming to my birthday party next weekend.

Christmas with my other cousins

I finally got to see my other cousins today. The four of us cousins had so much fun! I think the adults had fun too. Here I am playing with my cousin Maddie, who is three-and-a-half months older than me. We opened presents and had cake, and watch movies. Aunt Carolyn also had fun playing tickle monster with me!

No more South Dakotans!

My cousins Reagan and Harrison, and Uncle Corey and Aunt Karen, are leaving tomorrow to go back to the frigid Upper Midwest. I don't want them to leave! Here Reagan is pig-piling Mommy. But on the bright side, I get to see my Fosko cousins tomorrow as we celebrate Daddy's birthday and Christmas (2008). I was sound asleep as we pulled up to the hotel. I finally fell asleep after Mommy and Daddy got hot chocolates.

No! I do not want to leave the beach!

Today was the first day of 2009. I was having too much fun at the beach and mommy and daddy told me that we had to go home today. I was not happy about that at all. I did not want to leave my cousins. Hopefully I will get to see Aunt Karen, Uncle Corey, Reagan, and Harrison one last time before they have to go back home to South Dakota. I will miss them so much. Here are some pictures of the four cousins and then a picture of Corey trying to make us smile for the camera. At one point he had a stuffed dog and cat on top of his head. Silly Uncle Corey!!

New Year's Eve

The last day of 2008 was a fun filled day. Reagan and I decided to attack mommy with dinosaurs. We had so much fun, but I do not think mommy was too enthusiatic about that. We also had so much fun pig piling daddy and mommy as well. When it was time for bed, I gave Reagan a hug. It was hard for me to get to sleep because I saw shadows and I thought they were monsters and they were going to bite me. Mommy and daddy put on some music and I fell asleep. The adults just wanted us kids asleep so that they could party and ring in the New Year by themselves.
